A simple yet universal checkout experience for all services from Netgear
This section offers a sneak peek of some highlighted features covered during my work on the payment UX project
Plan Selection
The updated value proposition layout provides a clear and accessible way to learn about and select options, while the scalable design allows for any number of options suitable for any product
Simplified Fields
Condensing the form fields while meeting the legal requirement shortens the checkout flow and increases the success rate of payments
Clear Confirmation
The confirmation screen, which includes a summary of the user's purchased product, creates a sense of enclosure and ensures a successful payment experience

Being proactive about requirements and technicalities
  • Working with payment systems requires knowledge of legal requirements, payment SDK abilities, and more
  • To produce a complete and professional design result, it is essential to work closely with relevant teams and communicate regularly
Referencing prior successes can help guiding decisions
  • Payment is an essential aspect of every app and service
  • Looking at what other businesses do with a similar flow can inspire us to create an experience that meets legal requirements and builds trust with our users
